Melinda Robinson, Producer: “Having worked in the insurance industry as a woman for over 35 years, it is rewarding to see females being promoted. Over 60% of underwriters, adjustors, insurance agents, and brokers are female. If you like to help people, are competitive, and enjoy a new challenge each day, the insurance industry might be a great fit for you. I grew up on a dairy farm and little did I know that years later I would sit next to farmers laying out the insurance protection they need for their farming operations, big or small. However, growing up in a farm family has given me the upper edge to uncover some of the insurance protections needed to best protect farmers in a loss.”
