At Andres O’Neil & Lowe, insurance is about more than policies—it’s about people. Each year, our team comes together for an afternoon of connection, fun, and giving back. This year’s annual celebration at our Bryan office was one for the books, with laughter, friendly competition, and record-breaking generosity that will directly impact families across Northwest Ohio.
Team Building, Good Food, and Great Company
On a recent, sunny September afternoon, we closed our offices early and gathered as one big team. From a burger bar and pulled pork sandwiches to homemade ice cream and classic games like cornhole and bottle bash, the day was filled with plenty of smiles. Our employees from Bryan, Archbold, Hicksville, Wauseon, and Defiance came together not just to enjoy good food and fun, but also to support a bigger mission.
We even added in some team-building activities, including a scavenger hunt based on our mission statement—because remembering why we do what we do is just as important as how we do it.
A Fundraiser with Laughter and Local Impact
Our annual fundraiser took on a new look this year. Prior to the event, all employees voted for 10 brave nominees who agreed to take part in an ice bucket challenge. At the event, donation jars were placed for each nominee, and employees cast their votes with their dollars. The three nominees with the most money in their jars “won” the challenge and had buckets of ice water dumped over their heads.
It was a chilly but hilarious moment for everyone watching—and more importantly, it was all for a good cause. Together, our team raised well over $1,000—our new record for this event. As always, Andres O’Neil & Lowe will match those donations, doubling the impact for local families.
Supporting Local Families and Organizations Year-Round
The funds raised go directly back into the communities we serve. Over the years, we’ve partnered with organizations such as Adriel, local food banks, Sarah’s Friends, PATH Center through Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission, and Children’s Lantern. We also routinely support families directly through churches. Most of what we donate includes food, clothing, toiletries, and cleaning supplies—essentials that help families and organizations get through difficult times. In addition, we provide gifts to ensure children can experience the joy of Christmas morning.
Every donation drop-off is a reminder of why this matters: the hugs, tears, and gratitude from community members who know they’re not alone.
Why Community Commitment Matters in an Insurance Partner
At Andres O’Neil & Lowe, we believe insurance is about protecting what matters most—and that includes the strength and well-being of our local communities. When you choose to work with us, you’re not only choosing an insurance partner who understands your risks and helps safeguard your future, you’re also partnering with an agency that invests in the communities we all call home.
Our founder, Earl Andres, said it in 1923, and we remain faithful to that principle: “Service—to our clients, our community, and each other.” This fundraiser is just one of the many ways we live out that mission.
Whether you’re in Bryan, Archbold, Hicksville, Wauseon, Defiance, or another town in Northwest Ohio or Northeast Indiana, our goal is the same: to protect families, businesses, and futures with compassion and care.
Protect What Matters —and Strengthen Our Communities—Together
At Andres O’Neil & Lowe, we’re proud to serve the people and businesses who make Northwest Ohio such a special place to call home. When you choose us, you’re not just protecting your family, home, car, farm, or business—you’re supporting a local agency that invests right back into the communities we all share.
Whether you’re in Bryan, Archbold, Hicksville, Wauseon, Defiance, or anywhere nearby, our team is ready to help you find the protection and peace of mind you deserve.
